books?

one of my hobby is reading books. actually i don’t read too many books like some of my friends. In fact, one of my friend ever condemned that i’m a bad reader, and i’m such a tight person (un-open-minded..?). Maybe she is right, for i don’t like reading comics, programming books, philosophy, art or some junk books like jakarta undercover or chicklits (i really hate this kind of book).

but i have one book i love so much. For you who know me well may guess rightly what book i read everyday. Yes, that’s it. I love reading Bible. Not just because my priest always encourages his follower to read this book, moreover, i love the wisdoms, and the story of some people who are sinner, but they have forgiven,  so then they put their trust only and only to One God, and how their life was changed with God’s love and forgiveness. It’s blessed me somehow. The Bible also comprised of some poetries that was mostly written by King David and Salomon. and there is also Jacob’s books, that i amaze about, for the Author, Disciples Jacob himself, were such a cholerist (kolerik in Indonesia). and he wrote that book with many strict rules. and for me the rules ware truer than any philosophy i have known ever.

Besides the Bible, i also read some Christians books.  And this is the reason I am not reading many kinds of books. Cause for Christian books itself, I usually dont have enough time to read it. I mean not just read it, but think about the author’s thought, and what its implication to my life. so i usualy read a book two or three times before i read other books.
